Whenever Byron feels inspired, he takes his paint and palette and
goes to the local markets in the Byron Bay shire, to capture real life
activities and Scenery. This often also includes cafes, local farmland
and countryside, the magical Byron Bay Ocean landscapes and live music
festivals. These paintings are sometimes for commissions or as studies
for future paintings.
Yet another dimension to Byron is his still life paintings. Not only
is it great practice at being able to translate what you see onto canvas,
but it captures special objects and moments in time. It is a gift to be
able to paint a little cup and fill it full of energy, bringing it to life.
There is a collection of cups and chairs which are painted in Oil and all
have their own original charm.
